When a Korean name appears on a document, how should it be spelled out in English translation?
Based on the Korean writing alone, it is not possible to tell exactly how the person would write his/her name in English, and a translator can simply provide one of many possible spellings. For this reason, Korean name in English translation should be regarded only as an approximation.
